The war with Ukraine has irrevocably changed Russian society. Since February 24, anti-war rallies have been taking place every day, people have been speaking out about the war on social networks and wearing anti-war symbols. Such statements become grounds for criminal prosecution.
Below is a list of people persecuted under criminal law. Some of them are figurants of multiple criminal cases.
